This red male was bred in Holland and was out of a dam with a complete 'v.d. Koningstad' bloodline.
He was heavily used by some Dutch breeders with a different success. He gave trouble to some of the Dutch Dobermann breeding because he transmitted not only his good qualities but also his bad character. He was frightened and very nervous.
Arwin had an excellent body with a nice topline and the correct tailset, but his head was terrible being heavy in skull with a very snipey muzzle.
Although Arwin did not become a Dutch Champion, because of World War II, he did very well and won several important shows.
